FINALLY. Finally loyal fans. Finally it has happened. Rejoice boys and girls. Justice has been done. Arsenal have beaten Manchester United. Oh yes, savour that just for a moment.
The glorious event occurred on Sunday. And what a performance the boys put in. Slick passing, midfield dominance, defending. This was what we've been waiting for all season. Hope springs eternal in North London. Once again I must pick out the boy Chesney for praise, he was absolutely immense on Sunday. He's come so far this season it's unbelievable. He has confidence in abundance, he has real presence in the box and some of the saves he made on sunday were stunning. Also I feel I should give some love to an under appreciated member of the squad: Laurent Koscielny. He put in a hell of a shift at the weekend and was an absolute rock. Speaking of which, Andrei Arshavin, where did that come from? He was putting in tackles like no-one's business, proper hardcore tackles as well. It was truly a lovely sight. Which brings me to the most heartwarming aspect of the whole thing, Aaron Ramsey's goal. Its already great to see him back in the team but to see him score such an important goal and look so sharp is jut beyond amazing. I know this game gives us small thoughts of 'what could have been' but it also encourages us for next season, with all the PROGRESS (always a favourite word here) going on.
