Figure Skating off season shuffle

Well its figure skating off season as I'm sure you know and we're all eagerly awaiting the start of the next round of competition and all the new routines (and outfits!) that this brings. But while we're all waiting I thought we could play a little game. The figure skating music shuffle game. I've been challenging myself to come up with the music that I would really love to see some of my favourite figure skaters take on. I'm sure you'll all know the songs but just in case I'll include links.
First up Yuzuru Hanyu. I would really really love to see Yuzuru take on some Shinee because I think it would be a match made in heaven. I think 'Hello' would suit him so much http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skZxb5sBoiU) with him being so young and so sweet, plus he looks like he could be the long lost sixth member of Shinee. And while the cuteness suits him well I would really like to see him take on Shinee's 'Lucifer' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dww9UjJ4Dt8)  as I think the change of mood would be brilliant for him and I think the step up to the darker more aggressive tone would do wonders for him. And lets not kid ourselves that the styling SHinee have wouldn't look amazing on him.
Next up Daisuke Takahashi. For him, I think Faure's Pavane (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSx1xQFwp84) would suit him down to the ground.  Its got a lovely flow that would suit his skating style and it also has a sensuality to it that plays to his strengths. Its a gorgeous piece of music that I think could create a beautiful programme.
Then we have 'Lovely Brian' Joubert. In the vein of his programmes to Daft Punk I would love to see Brian do something with Stromae's 'Alors on danse' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHoT4N43jK8) because its so very cool and very French. It could be like his 'matrix' but even better. I also would like to see him take on something from the 'Inception' soundtrack perhaps 'Time' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=URBrdHaQ5tU) or maybe 'Dream within a dream' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MgbjTaGv_fA) as I think his work with film soundtracks in the past has been very strong and something like Inception would suit his personality. I think also Michal Brezina could do somthing fantastic with 'Dream within a dream' as it has the sort of unconventional tone and changes of pace that he's used previously but it has more of an epic feel that would really benefit his style.
On to Maxim Trankov and Tatiana. For them I think 'Navsegda' by Nichya (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MY84qcAUddA)  would be perfect for them. It has a lovely seam of drama running through it that would suit them I think. Also something I think that would suit either them or Daisuke is Big Bang's 'Monster' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=btDd9rOlc2k) because it has once again a nice flow to it with lovely piano bits but it also has a gothic-y edge which would suit either Daisuke or Maxim very well and it has a lovely narrative to the song too. A piece of music I would really love to see Maxim and Tatiana do is 'Burn' by the Cure from the Crow soundtrack (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hyr5WdrEvGI) it has the perfect mix of soaring and epic and dark and gothic. Plus the programme you could put together for this would be increible. You could design it like the movie and have Maxim dressed like Brandon in all black (with leather pants!) and with his fringe swept right over and emo'd up and Tatiana could be dressed in white like Shelly. Its not like I've planned the whole thing out or anything. Also 'Golgotha Tenement Blues' by machines of Loving Grace also from the Crow soundtrack would also suit this concept too. If you've got to the end of all my rambling and you want to join in the game, hit up the comments or my twitter (@moleyontheline)  and let me know if you agree or disagree or whether you have any suggestions for songs I've missed or you want to suggest other skaters I should include.
