The big (aesthetic) guide to Diamond League

Its been a little quiet around here but now we're back. And to mark a year since the London Olympics we're bringing you our big aesthetic guide to some athletes to watch out for the Diamond League.
Renaud and Valentin Lavillenie.

Here at Sports Wall, we've fallen for a new track and field superstar. Renaud Lavillenie is the Olympic Pole Vault Champion, World Indoor Champion, Triple European Indoor Champion and Double European Outdoor Champion. He holds the Olympic Record for pole vault and he's flying this season and pushing for over six metres. He's even built himself his own pole vault runway, for his back garden, just for fun. As if all that wasn't enough, he has a little brother Valentin who is a bronze medallist at pole vault at under 23 level. As you can see both of the Lavillenie boys are well blessed in the soulful eyes and gorgeous bone structure department.

Sticking with the French theme, we have Jimmy Vicaut. He's relay teammate to Sports Wall favourite Christophe Lemaitre. He won a European relay title with the French 4x100 relay team and is a European junior 100m champion. This season he's consistently improved and broken the magic ten second barrier. He's adorably perky and has a beautiful winning smile. And he has been known to cheer up his relay teammates with bunny ears (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_rsrGSV9ps)

Adam Gemili   source
Adorable Adam is just 19 and is the World Junior 100m champion. He's multi-talented too, having spent eight years in Chelsea FC's youth academy and played as a defender for Dagenham and Redbridge's academy side. He's also studying Sports Science and Human Biology at the University of East London. So he's smart, sporty and pretty to boot.

Andreas Thorkildsen

Andreas was the first male javelin thrower to be European, World and Olympic Champion at the same time. He was Norwegian Sportsman of the year in 2004 and European Athlete of the year in 2008. On top of that he's also been a model for Martin Dahlin's Autumn and Winter 2007 collections. He's a strapping six feet two, has tousled bedhead hair and a nice line in Nordic humour. He once said that he "would be better at mornings if they started at noon."
Daniele Greco
(source)
Daniele is the European Indoor Champion and Mediterranean Games Champion in triple jump. He's also a former under 23 gold medallist. He runs for Gruppo Sportivo Fiamme Oro which is the Sporting section of the Italian Police Force. Yes you read that right, he's a police officer. And my goodness he knows how to work a pair of glasses ( https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/64164_497073280350517_1827078157_n.jpg )

So enjoy the Diamond League, and World Championships guys and if you spot anyone I've missed, let me know in the comments or on twitter (@moleyontheline)
