Its not an ideal position for our season to be in I'll grant you that, but the season isn't finished yet not by a long shot. Let's have a sense of perspective here, we're three points behind Manchester United with a game in hand. That is a very good position. Also we have actually improved this season. We actually got to a final which we haven't in while. We stayed in four competitions up until March which we didn't last year.
Everybody has now written us off in the league too but that could play to our advantage as no one will expect our title surge. Plus being in one competition means only one set of games. There is now time for our players to rest and recuperate, time which our rivals do not have.
And finally I hear that Jens Lehmann is in talks to solve our goalkeeping crisis. Fantastic news. He's a proven winner, he's mentally tough and he's absolutely hardcore.
